I remember the day Saturn moved into Pisces. I was anticipating my Saturn return, but I swear I felt the shift the moment it happened. The past two years have catalyzed drastic changes in my life and while those changes felt tumultuous at the time, they pushed me towards hard-earned stability. I am more grounded in myself now and I am grateful for everything this season of life has put me through.
Saturn transits Aries on May 24th, and while it will return to Pisces in September, it will officially enter Aries again in February 2026. I thought I would feel relieved to get a respite from my Saturn return, but I don’t feel ready for Saturn to leave my birth placement. There is still work to be done. This brief shift in Saturn’s energy is inspiring me to look ahead to September and set some intentions around the last five months of my Saturn return. Astrology’s cyclical energy often works like this; you get a taste of energy that won’t be fulfilled until much later, so you get to watch the seeds you plant grow over time.
What seeds are you planting in your life right now?
“You can’t love life and hate death” - Nicole Cuffy, O Sinners!
Almost as soon as I turned 30, I began feeling an underlying anxiety around my health. I had never feared death before (sorry mom and dad for all the broken bones and bridge jumping,) and all of a sudden I realized how much I have to lose and how precious my health is. Turns out, this is a common experience. Leslie Stephens shared a thorough analysis of human’s relationship with death that is full of resources. I also just finished O Sinners! By Nicole Cuffy and loved the way the book reflects on life and death. I’m realizing more and more that fearing the loss of something is a reflection of deep appreciation.
My all-time obsession…

I’ve written about my approach to packing for trips a few times and it continues to be an obsession of mine. With each trip I feel I get closer to the outfits that really work for me and a more grounded sense of my personal style. I’m in Austin right now for a quick trip and it’s comical how little I brought with me but I feel like everything is versatile enough to get me through what I’m doing.
Next week I will be sharing everything I’m bringing on a two-week trip to Scandinavia, including how I vision board and plan my outfits while maintaining minimal packing!
Charli XCX
I am loving the extended moment Charli is having. I’ve been listening to her old albums on repeat and cannot believe that my favorite song of hers finally has a music video. Iconic.
That’s all, thanks for reading this mildly chaotic post!
