I have been working on this post since the beginning of July. August Astrology is massive in its energy and long-lasting influence and my effort for this post needed to match that!
Leo Season represents the judicious use of your individuality. Leo is where you become self-actualizing; where you begin to understand your desires and how you might utilize your innate aptitudes to achieve them. Leo creates personality and life from the pieces of beauty and influence found in the world.
Leo’s location in your chart represents where you are destined to take the stage. Your individuality is drawn out by the environment of the house it is in, providing a wealth of inspiration. Leo is ruled by the Sun, so when the Sun crosses your house of Leo, its influence over your personality is enhanced as well as your Sun sign. The effect is feeling grounded in who you are and what you are capable of.
With Jupiter, our faithful expander, transiting Leo until July of 2027, there also becomes an opportunity for manifestation. The seeds that you plant this month will provide the bounty for the next year.
Listen to those tugs that are telling you to take a chance on yourself, open up, and bask in who you are. Inhibiting your growth is no longer an option.

First House
Happy personal New Year! I’m going to go ahead and allow myself to be dramatic when I say that this year is for YOU! I want you to remember that your life is not something static to be discovered, it is an ever-evolving process of creation. Jean-Paul Sartre said, “existence precedes essence,” meaning that you have so much influence over who you become and how you live.
It’s time for an awakening. A spiritual glow-up in which you remember who you are and how silly it is to give your divine energy to things you cannot control in life. Before you can step into your power, you have to come face-to-face with the inauthenticities that plague you. Perhaps you have been conditioned to perform in a way that is deeply incompatible with who you are. Maybe you are too dependent on the approval of others. Maybe you allow your fears to keep you from trying. Just because you are destined to be seen doesn’t mean that it comes easily.
The question to ask yourself now is: “Where is my resistance to showing all the way up?”
What is holding you back to committing fully to who you are and what you are capable of? When you can be honest about that resistance, you can commit to your dreams and do them afraid.
