You are more than how you see yourself
I felt Liam’s personality long before he was born. The way he kicked, punched, and rolled during sonograms and exams led the technicians to make a note in his chart that he was “stubborn and uncooperative”. The way he breezed through potential red flags during my pregnancy as if nothing could get the best of him. The way he made his presence and energy known. I described him as happy, stubborn, and intent on doing things his own way.
Now that I’ve spent hours researching his chart, it’s pretty amazing how accurate my instincts were. Reading through some of my favorite resources; I was taken aback by some of the things I read:

I can’t escape the feeling that he knew exactly who he wanted to be and when he wanted to be born.
At his age, he is completely pure in who he is. External influences have not gotten to him yet and he is unable to self-reflect in any capacity. I’m working through the belief that we start out whole, able to embrace every part of ourselves, and as we age and become more aware of ourselves and others, we start to enforce our will and ego on our personalities, covering up parts of ourselves and bringing out others.
For me, Astrology has been the key to finding my way back to my pure, whole self. Through my chart, I have come to understand that I am so much more than how I see myself.

What areas of my birth chart should I pay attention to to better understand my love life?
Every area of your chart has something to say about how you show up in relationships. Your Rising Sign may show you how you initially approach people, your Mars Sign may reveal the guards you put up to protect yourself or how you approach conflict, your Venus Sign may indicate your love language, and so on and so forth!
I think looking to understand yourself better in relation to your love life is incredibly smart! Truly knowing yourself and your relational instincts can help you heal and grow, communicate better, and approach your partner with vulnerability. Below is a checklist of starting points to start to explore your chart from a relational perspective:
Look up your Venus sign and read about it. What does it indicate about how you show your love for people?
Look up your Mars sign and read about it. What does it indicate about how you like to receive love?
Do you show love differently than you prefer to receive love?
Read more about your Sun sign and your Moon sign. In what ways are these parts of yourself similar? In what ways are they different? What traits do you usually show people when you’re getting to know them? What traits take longer to reveal?

Absolutely! In all of my relationships, Astrology has been the enlightening knowledge that has helped me understand my loved ones better. Instead of focusing only on my perspective, I’m able to get into the mind of my loved ones and see where they’re coming from. We’re so locked in our minds and our own experiences that it can be difficult to understand how someone might experience the same things completely differently.
As a parent, I feel a huge sense of responsibility to help Liam be his authentic self among external influences telling him to change. Through Astrology I might gain insight into his strengths, his insecurities, the way he sees the world, and so much more that I can use to nurture him and help him along his path. I want to be an encourager in his life, even when my guidance may not be what he wants to hear.
